Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Presents Wreck-It Ralph

Wreck-It-Ralph
Coming to Cinemas on 20th December 2012
Movie Synopsis

Walt Disney Animation Studios and Emmy®-winning director Rich Moore (TV’s “The Simpsons,” “Futurama”) take moviegoers on a hilarious, arcade-game-hopping journey in “Wreck-It Ralph.” Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly, “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby,” “Step Brothers”) is tired of being overshadowed by Fix-It Felix (voice of Jack McBrayer, “30 Rock”), the “good guy” star of their game who always gets to save the day.

But after decades doing the same thing and seeing all the glory go to Felix, Ralph decides he’s tired of playing the role of a bad guy. He takes matters into his own massive hands and sets off on a game-hopping journey across the arcade through every generation of video games to prove he’s got what it takes to be a hero.

On his quest, he meets the tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Jane Lynch, TV’s “Glee”) from the first-person action game Hero’s Duty.
But it’s the feisty misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman, “The Sarah Silverman Program”) from the candy-coated cart racing game, Sugar Rush, whose world is threatened when Ralph accidentally unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens the entire arcade.

What are your thoughts and views after viewing the trailer?
Any character in the video that caught your attention?

I personally have one particular character that is the exact mirror image of myself which is based on a real life situation that I have experienced before in my life.

This character is none other than Ralph himself, he depicts how everyone in this world, be it a boy or girl would face in life. What we face in life is similar to how Ralph conqured his problems by trying to make a difference due to the fact that he felt like an outcast which overwhelmed him and made him see himself as a person who is somewhat useless and unwanted.

However, his changes were so drastic and dangerous that it almost crash the entire system itself due to the rise of a deadly enemy. This is the time when I feel that it is exactly similar to how we usually lead our lives such that we all make mistakes in life when we face the obstacles that are right in front of us. But we can never do it the right way without the encouragement and the support of the people around you.

Once the realization of the happiness and support that Ralph's been receiving despite his clumsiness and mistakes, he still managed to pull through somehow and finally came to his understanding and knowledge that he is in fact able to accomplish what he sets out to do and he was never useless at all.

Thus, from this character I personally feel that it really sents out a great message to everyone including myself that I can never give up despite whatever obstacles I faced in life even if it means being in a broken family as nothing is perfect. However, as long as you have the willpower and the courage to face it, you can always achieve what you aim to accomplish in life.

Will Ralph realize his dream and save the day before it’s too late?
